Tate smiled, feeling warm with her in his arms. This is all he wanted… ever . “You’re all I ever wanted.” he whispered, as he kissed her forehead, then leaned in and softly kissed her lips, and smiled, pulling away just a bit.
Violet felt reassured of his love when he told her that she is all he ever wanted. In a strange way it made her dead heart smile and enlightened her. Violet traced the outline of his full lips gently with her fingertip. “I love you tate” the words flowed freely from her mouth rather than hesitantly this time.
Tate sighed a bit, and wrapped his arms around her, holding her. “I understand.” he nodded. Tate thought about what she said for a minute, he hadn’t really thought about it, but he missed that too. It’s been so long, that he forgot about how anything out of this house felt. “I miss that.” he said in a small voice.
Violet felt small against his body as he held her closely. It was nice having this kind of Tate around. He was understanding, kind and patient which led her to believe he has changed. Violet turned her body so she was facing him “At least I have you to keep my afterlife somewhat interesting” she said while laughing lightly. Violet shyly smiled at him before kissing his cheek gently.
